DAGNE VENTINA (1986) I am a painter. I am inspired by natural landscapes, flights of fantasy, and everyday events. I like to create my own view of the world. I highlight and brighten with colors for a moment. I paint with oil paints, because with them you can achieve different nuances, from a transparent sensitive layer to a covering, even surface, thus creating a nuanced mood. I have obtained a master’s degree at the Latvian Academy of Arts in the department of painting. I graduated from the Department of Visual Art and Cultural History of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Latvia. Currently, I work at the Bergţi music and art elementary school as a teacher of the basics of painting and art language.
