Gunita Freimane. I am a child of nature. I feel like a fish in water in soft moss and leaf litter. And I didn’t worry too much about the cobwebs in my hair either. I love nature in all its aspects, so I depict it in many ways in my works. I paint first of all with feelings and only then with colors, because colors too – I have feelings first.
I started painting intuitively, self-evidently, to express myself creatively. I have learned and developed all my skills through self-learning – through great patience and confidence – which is the true calling of my life.
